In-Clinic Appointments Now Available
Mount Merrion Physiotherapy & Health is open to provide essential 'primary care including paramedical and essential physiotherapy’ in accordance with government regulations as published on the 28th of March.
Our role as essential healthcare providers is further supported by our professional body, the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
We are offering physiotherapy treatment for the following:
- Emergency cases, where pain symptoms are significantly impacting on coping and quality of life.
- Acute injuries where the pain is significant and mobility are restricted; for example, a low back or knee injury.
- Exacerbation of pre-existing complex pain conditions due to COVID-19 related stress and anxiety. Examples would include tension headaches, migraines and fibromyalgia.
- Pre and post-surgical rehabilitation to restore mobility, strength and function, reducing the likelihood of prolonged disability.

Available weekdays for those who are not confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19, who are not self-isolating do not have any cold or flu symptoms

Following assessment and diagnosis, your treatment will include self-management advice & education, modified manual therapy, medical acupuncture (incl dry needling), prescription exercise and electrotherapy as indicated. Scans and medication prescriptions can be arranged if required. Treatment duration is approximately 30 minutes.

Available weekdays for those who are confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19, who are self-isolating, or have any cold or flu symptoms. Those considered high risk should choose this treatment option.
Your consultation will take place via secure remote video link, using WhatsApp or Zoom.
Following assessment and diagnosis, your treatment may include self-management advice & education, self-treatment techniques and prescription exercises. Scans any medication prescriptions can be arranged if required. Treatment duration is approximately 30 minutes.
